Biography
Dr. Mohammad Sohel-Uzzaman is a general and endo-laparoscopic surgeon based in Dhaka. He holds MBBS (SBMC), BCS (Health), CCD (BIRDEM) and FCPS in Surgery.
His career began in 2013 at Green Life Medical College & Hospital. He went on to work at Popular Medical College Hospital, Apollo Hospital Dhaka and Dhaka Medical College Hospital, and served at Chitalmari and Rajoir Upazila Health Complexes and Madaripur District Hospital. Since 2022 he has been an Assistant Registrar at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
He trained in minimal access surgery at World Laparoscopy Hospital, Delhi, under Dr. R. K. Mishra, and stood first in the fellowship qualifying examination. He also completed a fellowship in GI endoscopy under Prof. Dr. Bhavneet Singh Bhalla, and is a Life Member of the World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons (WALS).
He sees patients in Khilgaon and Dhanmondi in Dhaka and in Madaripur, and publishes health videos in Bangla on conditions such as hernia, piles, anal fissure and lipoma.
